Eckington Leisure Centre

The project involved a refit of the existing changing area providing a brand new village change facility. The existing learner pool was filled and converted to form a new Dance Studio’s, 1 and an extension to the existing gym.

There was also a brand new café and children’s play added to the facility.

The center  is for use of both local residents and school students. Now comprising of brand new village change, gym, studio, café, viewing area and kids play.

All areas including the Gym and Spin Studio are provided with heating and cooling from Heat Pump Air Conditioning units with condensers located on the roof. Ventilation in the Gym and Studio and is provided from a de-centralised local unit system and the village change ventilation been supplied by a central  bespoke supply and extract air handling unit incorporating heat recovery and located on the roof.

Lighting throughout is LED with presence detection  provided to changing rooms,. Feature colour change lighting is provided to the multi-functional studio.
